Having been a doctor for 32 years it is my opinion that the human body creates an organizing field of energy, called a biofield, which is thought by many scientists to regulate the process and control systems of the body. Additionally, electrical currents in the body, called biocurrents or biocircuits, have been recognized as energetic flows which are involved in controlling or regulating the body’s repair process.

Science has shown that bioelectrical currents continually flow throughout the body and that these currents are involved in the body’s healing and repair processes. When the body experiences injury, tissues some distance from the injury site will actually participate in the repair process. This means that there must be a good channel of communication between the injured area and other areas of the body. The introduction of trauma, toxins and other stresses to the body can disrupt or imbalance the channels of communication that control and regulate these body processes.
